ABOUT ME

I have been a quilter for nearly 25 years, eek! It all started when my grandmother made a quilt for the birth of one of my cousins.  She asked family members to make squares and she pieced them together and quilted them.  It was only one square, but I was hooked. Shortly after, I moved to Austin, where I took my first quilt class at the Quilt Store on Anderson Lane.

Though my background is in chemical engineering, I trained in art throughout my young adulthood at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. as well as the Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria.  My own personal style is simple and clean-lined, however I have an appreciation for all types of quilts including traditional, modern, and art quilts.
